Produtos saudáveis e de alta qualidade
Em busca de uma vida mais saudável, as famílias brasi-
leiras têm adquirido o hábito de consumir alimentos natu-
rais, livres de agrotóxicos e conservantes. De olho nesse novo
mercado, um grupo de produtores rurais do interior de Goiás
decidiu formar a Cooperativa Goiás Orgânico, com objetivo
de apoiar o cultivo e comercialização desse tipo de produto.
Com três anos de atuação no mercado, a instituição possui
37 cooperados em diversos municípios do estado e comercializa
80 itens cultivados de forma sustentável e natural.
A principal vantagem da Goiás Orgânico é que, para ser
cooperado, não é preciso ser produtor rural: qualquer pessoa
com atividades no segmento, como comerciantes ou enge-
nheiros agrônomos, pode se associar.
Apesar de ainda jovem, a cooperativa já percebeu que
para continuar no segmento é preciso investir em treinamen-
tos e capacitações técnicas, por isso, tem feito parcerias
para atender à demanda dos associados. A instituição ambi-
ciona tornar-se referência na região para o desenvolvimento
sustentável e promoção do bem-estar da comunidade.

Healthy products, and with high quality
Looking for a healthier life, Brazilian families have
acquired the habit of consuming natural foods – free from
agro toxic, and conservatives. With an eye in this new market,
a group of rural producers from the countryside of Goiás
decided to form Cooperativa Goiás Orgânico (Organic Goiás
Cooperative), with the objective of supporting the plantation
and commercialization of this kind of product.
After three years in the market, the institution has
37 members in different municipalities of the state, and
commercializes 80 items cultivated sustainably and naturally.
The main advantage of Goiás Orgânico is that,
to become a member, it is not necessary to be a rural
producer: anyone with activities in the segment, such as
traders or agronomists, can become a member.
Although it is still new, the cooperative has already
noticed that, to continue on the segment, it is necessary to
invest on trainings and technical habilitations, therefore,
it has been making partnerships to fulfill the members’
demands. The institution intends to become a reference in
the region for the sustainable development and promotion
of the community’s well-being.
