Jeitinho mineiro para crescer
Uma das 400 maiores empresas do agronegócio
brasileiro, segundo ranking da revista Exame: Melhores
e Maiores de 2013, a Coopa temmotivos de sobra para
comemorar. Fundada em 1961, na cidade mineira de
Patrocínio, ela tinha o objetivo de repassar insumos e
produtos agropecuários para seus sócios. No início, ela
funcionava em um imóvel alugado. Hoje, possui sede
própria e fliais em diversos municípios do Alto Parana-
íba e Triângulo Mineiro.
Há mais de 50 anos ao lado do produtor rural, a
Cooperativa Agropecuária de Patrocínio (Coopa) é uma
grande família, com mais de 2,4 mil cooperados e
mais de 300 colaboradores. Juntos, eles planejam e
escrevem cada página de sua bem sucedida história.
De olho na melhoria de seus produtos e, também,
de seus profssionais, a cooperativa promove eventos
como Encontro Tecnológico do Milho – realizado anu-
almente em parceria com a Fundação Comunitária e
Educacional de Patrocínio – e a Feira de Negócios e
Integração, com o objetivo de gerar oportunidade de
negócios com os principais parceiros da cooperativa.

One of the 400 biggest Brazilian agribusiness companies,
according to the ranking of Exame Melhores e Maiores
magazine of 2013, Coopa has plenty of reasons to celebrate.
It was founded in 1961, in the city in Minas Gerais called
Patrocínio, its objective was to pass inputs and farm and cattle
raising products to its partners. In the beginning it worked
at a rented real estate, today, it has its own head offce and
branches in different municipalities of Alto Paranaíba and
Triângulo Mineiro.
It has more than 50 years beside the rural producer,
Cooperativa Agropecuária de Patrocínio – Coopa (Farm and
Cattle Raising Cooperative of Patrocínio -Coopa) is like a great
family, with more than 2.4 thousand members, and more than
300 collaborators. Together they plan, and write each page of
its well succeeded story.
With an eye in its products’ improvement, and also of
its professionals, the cooperative promotes events such as
the Technological Meeting of Corn, carried out annually
in partnership with the Communitarian and Educational
Foundation of Patrocínio, and the Business and Integration
Fair, with the objective of generating business opportunity with
the main partners of the cooperative.
