Formação cooperativista
Cooperação também se aprende na escola. E quanto antes
começar a formação, mais cedo haverá nova geração de cida-
dãos alinhados aos valores e aos princípios cooperativistas.
Gente de caráter forte, capaz de pensar no bem de todos e
não apenas em si mesmo.
Pensando em oferecer esse tipo de educação a seus f-
lhos, um grupo de pais do interior de São Paulo fundou, em
1993, a Cooperativa Educacional de São Carlos (Educativa).
A instituição conta com cerca de 830 associados e oferece
ensino de qualidade para aproximadamente 850 alunos por
ano, desde a educação infantil até o ensino médio.
Na condição de cooperados, os pais dos alunos são corres-
ponsáveis no processo educativo, contribuindo para a implan-
tação de uma política pedagógica que valoriza a criatividade e
a autonomia do aluno na construção do conhecimento.
Os resultados desse comprometimento são visíveis. Ao
longo dos últimos 20 anos, a Educativa aprovou centenas de
alunos nos vestibulares das principais universidades do País.
Futuros profssionais com DNA cooperativista, eles estão
dispostos a construir uma sociedade melhor e mais justa.
Cooperative formation
Cooperation is also learnt at school. And the sooner
education starts, the sooner we will have a new generation
of citizens aligned with cooperative values and principles,
people with strong character, capable of thinking in
everybody’s well-being and not only in themselves.
It was thinking in offering this kind of education
to their children, that a group of parents from the
countryside of São Paulo founded, in 1993, Cooperativa
Educacional de São Carlos – Educativa (Educational
Cooperative of São Carlos – Educativa). The institution
counts with around 830 associates, and offers quality
education to an average of 850 students per year, from
elementary to high school.
As members, the students’ parents are co-responsible
for the educational process, contributing for the
implantation of a pedagogic policy that values the student’s
creativity and autonomy in the construction of knowledge.
The results of such commitment are visible. Throughout
the last 20 years, Educativa has approved hundreds of
students in ‘vestibulares’ (university entrance examination
in Brazil) for the main universities of the Country. They
are future professionals with cooperativeness in their DNA,
willing to build a better and fairer society.
